Aeris Danet

Sixteen  year old American actress Aeris Danet is from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and The Independent Film Alliance of Chicago. 

The youngest indie horror director of 2025 is Aeris Danet, a high school freshman at 15 years old, who is the writer, director, and producer of the psychological horror slasher film, NEBULOUS

The recently turned 16-year-old from Illinois  gained worldwide recognition in May 2025 for her short film, Nebulous when she was named the youngest winner in the history of the Chicago Horror Film Festival for her work on the short. She went on to win the award for BEST HORROR FIRST-TIME DIRECTOR and has gained several selections, nominations and honorable mentions at various 2025 film festivals throughout the United States. Danet is now working to turn her short film into a full-length feature, and has begun crowdfunding independently.
