Aeris Danet is the 15 years old  high school freshman who wrote, directed, casted and produced the psychological horror slasher short film NEBULOUS. NEBULOUS is the parody-ish, horror trope filled short that captures the essence of classic 80's horror films adding a sprinkle of 90's teen coming of age drama as  filmmaking turns deadly for a group of unsuspecting high school teens. 

Her short film  features songs from Chicago recording artists, Bottle of Justus, Stubhy Pandav (lead vocalist of Lucky Boys Confusion) and  Aeris Danet herself with 'IN YOUR FACE" a song written & produced by Chicagos own  20 Fingers aka Manny Mohr. 

The now 16-year-old high schooler continues to gain worldwide recognition as one of the "youngest indie horror directors of 2025". Danet, who snagged a "BEST HORROR FIRST-TIME DIRECTOR" award is continuing her 2025/2026/2027 film festival run with her horror short. Meanwhile, Aeris Danet is simultaneously adapting the horror short into a full length feature film that will begin filming summer 2027.
