Aeris Danet

Aeris Danet wrote, directed, casted and produced the psychological horror slasher short film NEBULOUS under her own production company "A Danet Production" at only 15 years old. NEBULOUS is a parody-ish, horror trope filled short that captures the essence of classic 80's horror films adding a sprinkle of 90's teen coming of age drama as  filmmaking turns deadly for a group of unsuspecting high school teens. NEBULOUS features Chicago recording artists, Bottle of Justus, Stubhy Pandav (lead vocalist of Lucky Boys Confusion) and  Aeris Danet herself with 'IN YOUR FACE" a song written & produced by 20 Fingers aka Manny Mohr. 

Danet and NEBULOUS, have snagged multiple awards for her short film including  "BEST HORROR FIRST-TIME DIRECTOR" at the world renowned Chicago Horror Film Festival, "BEST HORROR FILM" from the New York Film and Cinematography Awards and even an Honorable Mention from Happenstance Horror Fest hosted in Salem, Massachusetts. 

This high schooler continues to gain worldwide recognition as internet searches for "youngest indie horror directors 2025"  &  " youngest indie horror directors 2027" have Aeris Danet popping up alongside the likes of Curry Barker (Obsession) and Kane parsons (Backrooms) internet searches stating that these are the youngest indie horror directors making an impact who are rapidly redefining the landscape of the horror genre.

 As Aeris Danet continues her 2025/2026/2027 film festival run, she is simultaneously in preproduction on NEBULOUS the full length feature film.

NEBULOUS the movie will begin filming summer 2027.
