Fifteen year old American actress Aeris Danet is from the southwest suburbs of Chicago. She studies acting for TV/Film primarily with her coach and mentor Heidi Marshall for The Heidi Marshall Studio, NYC.
Aeris’s continued education and adept script memorization skills allow her to explore range and take risks. Theatre lends another outlet to do what she loves and showcase her vocal abilities. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA, a high school freshman, an honors/AP student and first time writer/director of the teen horror short "Nebulous". Aeris Danet is represented exclusively by theatrical talent agent Brooke Tonneman founder of Big Mouth Talent Inc.
Apart from acting, Aeris can officially add directing, screenwriting, producing and even casting to her resume. Aeris Danet is making her filmmaking debut with the 2025 release of her 10min short teen horror project NEBULOUS. Aeris's goal to write for and cast teenage actors in roles that could only be brought to life by real teens turned into reality in October of 2024 only one day after her fifteenth birthday Aeris secured her first SAG micro-budget agreement for her short film idea and started bringing NEBULOUS to life without ever taking a film class. Aeris experienced real world education by observation those Aeris was directed by while being on-set. Aeris harnessed that passion and real world knowledge to create a project as a freshman for submission to her high school film festival. This allowed Aeris to explore being on the other side of the lens writing, directing and producing the parody(ish), horror trope filled, story of how filmmaking turns deadly for a group of unsuspecting high school teens. Her influences of Stephen King, Wes Craven and teen coming of age movies are predominant in the short film NEBULOUS.
Aeris enjoys how rewarding the process of filmmaking can be, she also learned how obstacles can determine your movies fate. When nearing the completion of editing NEBULOUS and securing approval/licensing for songs from distribution from companies such as NETTWERK MUSIC GROUP and BMG that high school film festival was canceled due to lack of interest from other participants/students. Filming was one small scene away from being fully completed, all core scenes and locations had already wrapped and rewrites without PG-13 guidelines/restrictions from her high school were no longer an option. Aeris learned from this experience to no longer allow others to control what you want the audience to see. Restrictions limit the overall story telling process and jeopardize artistic integrity. One day when given the opportunity NEBULOUS will be brought to life in the full length feature film it was envisioned to be.
Currently NEBULOUS has already been viewed and critiqued by Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix writer/director), Steve Desmond (Knock at the Cabin writer) Heidi Miami Marshal (S.P.I.C director).
NEBULOUS is also being submitted as a film short to various festivals throughout the 2025 year on filmfreeway.com
